Apex Youth Camp: July 25-July 28, 2011- $75.00+


Apex Wrestling presents the Apex Youth Camp. This camp is designed to provide top notch instruction at a reasonable price.

PHILOSOPHY:
The camps philosophy is to teach and reinforce the basic skills and fundamentals of wrestling while gradually progressing into higher levels of technique.

OPPORTUNITY:
You will receive instruction from former high school and collegiate champions. Don't miss the chance to learn from this elite group. NYS Certified Teachers will be instructing and supervising your child throughout the day providing them with sport specific instruction and meaningful game experiences.

Parents please note that both camps (wrestling with lacrosse or wrestling with football) are an option for your son. Should they choose the option to attend both camps, a 30 minute break will be provided for lunch. The Wrestling, Football & Lacrosse programs are excited about providing this option to our students.

Youth Camp



Deadline for registration is July 21, 2011
» There is a limited enrollment. The first 75 to register will be guaranteed admission, so don’t hesitate. The morning wrestling camp is open to wrestlers grades 1-7. The afternoon wrestling camp is open to wrestlers grades 2-8. Campers will be separated by age, weight, and experience. 2009 Apex Youth Wrestling Camp
» This one week camp will stress strategies and techniques that have been proven to be successful for all wrestlers. You will learn how to prepare and train from former National Champions, All-Americans, State and Sectional Place-winners.
» There are a limited number of openings for wrestlers interested in the youth camp and it is suggested to apply as soon as possible. Campers will be admitted on a first-come first-serve basis.
» The cost is $75 for the one week of instruction. Add either the Lacrosse (additional $75) or Football (additional $55) camp. Add any number or sibling for a flat fee of $50 total.
» The Apex Wrestling and Pittsford Lacrosse Camp will be held at the Calkins Rd School, 1899 Calkins Rd. 14534. The Wrestling portion will run from 8:30-11:30 am with the Lacrosse camp starting at 12:00 until 3:00pm. The cost for this camp is $150.00. $75.00 will need to be paid directly to Pittsford Lacrosse.
» The Apex Wrestling and Apex Football Camp will be held at the HFL School. The Football portion will run from 8:30-11:30 am with the Wrestling camp starting at 12:00 until 3:00pm. The cost for this camp is $130.00. You save $20.00 when signing up for both camps.
» All Campers will be provided with a T-shirt and water bottle.
» For those transitioning directly to either the combined football or lacrosse camp, a time for lunch will be provided. Please send your child with food and beverage..
Youth Camp Typical Day That Includes
» 1 Technique Session (total: approximately 1.5 - 2 hours of instruction)
» 1 Recreation Session where wrestlers will be able to participate in wrestling related games and/or live wrestling.
